Last minute getaway

The Clifford’s and Crawford’s

We booked a lastminute get away as two couples, what a great find, the cottage is amazing, the kitchen had everything we needed. The welcome hamper full of delicious local items was a lovely surprise we tucked into tea and cake while unpacking. The lounge with its grey, white and navy theme with fur throws and blankets was great to snuggle up with a glass of wine and catch up with our friends.

Quiet Week Away

We have just returned from a beautiful week at Whisk Away Cottage near Penrith. I am always looking for holiday cottages that have that WOW factor and this defiantly ticks that box. We booked for a quiet week away just the two of us, but as the cottage has two bedrooms I would love to go back later in the year and take my parents. Great location for the northern lakes, we walked for miles around the area, it has some fantastic walks very close by. We stayed in most nights the kitchen has made me want a new one at home, just need to convince my husband now. The cottage is located on a village complex, all stone cottages with cobbled streets, its like a little village, very peaceful. This was a great find and we will defiantly be returning.

A stunningly refurbished cottage in the peaceful Whitbarrow village, we loved feeding the ducks and seeing the rabbits jumping around and playing chess on the giant chess board. We used the pool each afternoon after discovering different areas of the Lake District. We will defiantly be booking again a great week away.

Great family break

Great for family break, I booked to take my parents away for a week in the Lakes, this gave us a luxury retreat but in a complex that kept us all entertained, my dad and husband enjoyed the gym while myself and mum relaxed in the pool and jacuzzi. The onsite restaurant with stunning views over the lakes is great for dinner or after dinner drink.
